Lottery ticket worth $401,252 sold in Moraga, and a $111,524 winner in Santa Clara
"The Moraga player, who purchased their ticket at the 7-Eleven store at 633 Moraga Rd., was the only one statewide to pick all five Mega Million game numbers, which were 18, 43, 49, 63 and 69. Had they picked the Mega number, 6, which no one statewide did, they would have won $138 million. The Santa Clara player was one of three statewide to pick all five Fantasy 5 game numbers, which were 10,12, 22, 28 and 37."
"The ticket was purchased at the Shell gas station, 2800 Augustine Dr. The other two winning tickets were purchased at markets in Helendale and Bell Gardens in Southern California. No one at either business could immediately be reached for comment. Mega Millions is played Tuesday and Friday nights. Friday's jackpot will be at least $157 million. Fantasy 5 is played every night of the week. Wednesday night's minimum jackpot was to be at least $78,000."
A Moraga ticket matched the five non-Mega numbers in Mega Millions and won $401,252; the ticket was sold at the 7-Eleven at 633 Moraga Rd. It was not known if the winner had come forward immediately. No one matched the Mega number 6, so the jackpot remained unclaimed. A Santa Clara Fantasy 5 ticket matched all five numbers, winning $111,524; that ticket was sold at the Shell gas station at 2800 Augustine Dr. Two other Fantasy 5 winners were sold in Helendale and Bell Gardens. Mega Millions draws occur Tuesdays and Fridays; Friday's jackpot will be at least $157 million. Fantasy 5 draws are nightly. Winners have 180 days to claim prizes.
