Surveillance footage captured six youths on e-bikes ganging up on a man carrying a pizza box, knocking him to the ground and repeatedly punching and kicking him. One attacker shouted "He's dead, he's dead" as the group fled the scene. The victim, a man in his 50s, was taken to a hospital for treatment, later discharged, and subsequently met with detectives. The incident occurred near the 11th Court alleyway by the Hermosa Beach Pier. Hermosa Beach Police Department is investigating and is asking anyone with information or video to contact the department. Neighboring cities have reported similar trouble with teens on e-bikes, including fireworks, unsafe riding and assaults.
