NWS San Francisco placed a flood watch for Marin Coastal Range, Sonoma Coastal Range, North Bay Interior Mountains, Coastal North Bay including Point Reyes, and North Bay Interior Valleys until 10 p.m. Multiple lines of showers and thunderstorms, sometimes strong, may produce excessive rainfall and runoff. Rivers, creeks, streams, low-lying, poor drainage, and urban areas may flood as creeks and streams rise out of their banks. Residents should monitor forecasts, be alert for Flood Warnings, and be prepared to take action if flooding develops. Sandbag use instructions and county pickup locations for San Mateo, Alameda, and Santa Clara are provided.
