Christopher Lee Card, 40, pleaded no contest to pimping the woman and was formally sentenced in October, court records show. Card was given about four years worth of credit for time he spent behind bars while the case was pending, including time credits for good behavior."
"Card was arrested in 2021, after the woman reported that he was holding her against her will at a Union City hotel. She later told authorities he offered her a modeling job but that after she flew in from out of state, her forced her to have sex with strangers for money, as many as I possibly could in one day."
Christopher Lee Card, 40, pleaded no contest to pimping and received a six-year state prison sentence with roughly four years credit for time already served. Card was arrested in 2021 after a woman reported being held against her will at a Union City hotel. The woman said she was offered a modeling job, flew in from out of state, and then was forced to have sex with strangers for money. Human trafficking charges were dropped as part of the plea deal. While awaiting trial Card faced a separate assault charge that was dropped after the plea. Competency allegations stalled prosecution in 2023. Card lived in Emeryville and used the name Samir Haseen.
