A 55-year-old man driving a pickup truck became upset with another driver on MacArthur Boulevard in East Oakland, believing he had been cut off. He pulled alongside the other vehicle and allegedly pointed a handgun at it, which contained a driver and his 8 and 10-year-old daughters in the rear seats. No shots were fired and no injuries occurred. Police located the truck at the suspect's home and arrested him. A search warrant yielded multiple firearms including the suspected weapon used in the incident, a stolen pistol from Santa Rosa, an assault rifle, a sawed-off shotgun, and other weapons. The suspect was booked on multiple charges including assault with a firearm and brandishing offenses, held on $300,000 bail.
