Deputies investigating home invasion robbery in San Carlos, suspect is at large
"A man with a gun forced his way into a home in San Carlos early this morning, demanded money and valuables and then fled on a bicycle, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office. The victim reported the robbery in the 1400 block of Greenwood Ave. around 2 a.m. The victim said the robber was wearing a black face mask, a dark-colored hoodie and light-colored pants. The victim was not injured."
"The Sheriff's Office said deputies quickly responded to the home, searched the neighborhood and collected statements and evidence. They also used a drone and sniff dogs, however, they couldn't find the robber. "The Sheriff's Office is allocating significant resources to investigate this crime and community members can expect enhanced patrols in the area," the sheriff's office said in a statement."

Residents near Greenwood Ave. are asked to review and upload security footage recorded after midnight to the secure evidence portal.
