"The warning is in effect until 3:15 a.m. Residents should prepare for wind gusts of up to 60 mph. At 2:55 a.m., severe thunderstorms were located along a line from over South San Francisco to 13 miles south of Half Moon Bay, or along a line from over South San Francisco to 16 miles southwest of Palo Alto, moving north at 40 mph, according to the NWS San Francisco CA. Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees."
"The NWS said, Storms will be capable of producing large quantities of accumulating hail. This may result in slick and hazardous driving conditions. Slow down and use caution if driving. Wind damage with these storms will occur before any rain or lightning. Do not wait for the sound of thunder before taking cover. Seek shelter immediately inside a sturdy structure and stay away from windows."
