Closing arguments began in a Santa Clara County courtroom for Shannon O'Connor, a Los Gatos mother accused of hosting parties where she provided alcohol to underage teenagers and encouraged sexual acts. O'Connor was present in court and held without bail. Prosecutors say the alleged incidents date to 2019 and involve victims as young as 11, with charges filed in 2021. Parties occurred at her home, local parks and hotels. Videos shown in court reportedly depicted severely intoxicated teens and alcohol stocked in a refrigerator. Twenty teens provided testimony and photographs were displayed for the jury.
