California Highway Patrol officers pursued a speeding Chevrolet Camaro that fled a traffic stop on the westbound 10 Freeway at Vincent Avenue. The driver failed to stop and the pursuit ended when the car flew off the 105 Freeway and crashed near North Nash Street and Imperial Highway at about 2:07 a.m. El Segundo firefighters cut the dazed, bloodied driver out of the vehicle; the man was arrested and taken to a hospital. OnScene.TV footage showed a red sedan involved in a collision and depicted a gun, a saw and a computer device that CHP had seized; no further details about those items were available.
