The Madera County Sheriff's Office is urging guests who stayed at a short-term rental in Oakhurst to come forward after discovering the host allegedly recorded them without consent. Christian Parmalee Edwards, the host, faces multiple felony charges, including child sexual abuse material. During a search of his home, detectives found over 4,000 digital files of such material and evidence of filming guests through cracks in windows. Edwards rented out portions of his house while living on the third floor, using various rental platforms.
