"RICHMOND, Calif. (KGO) -- A UPS employee was killed in an accident at a UPS facility in Richmond. It happened on Sunday when Richmond police responded to reports of an industrial accident at a packaging facility on Atlas Road around 4:16 p.m."
"Richmond PD's preliminary investigation show the employee was loading packages into a cargo trailer when several packages fell onto them. Police say the employee was alone inside the trailer at the time. A co-worker later discovered the injured employee and immediately called for emergency responders. Despite life-saving efforts by first responders, the victim succumbed to their injuries and died at the scene, police said."
"Reyna leaves behind five children. UPS is coopering with authorities and released a statement writing: " We are deeply saddened by the passing of one of our team members. Our thoughts are with their family, friends and colleagues during this difficult time. We are cooperating fully with the authorities to understand what happened and defer additional questions to them.""
