Dougherty Valley's Keira Tom finished second with 27.1% of the vote. Gunukula, a senior, scored 19 points, added two rebounds, two steals, an assist and a block in a 64-30 win over Santa Teresa. She made four of nine 3-point attempts. Nomination instructions require emailing highschools@bayareanewsgroup.com by Monday at 11 a.m., but only votes submitted through the Mercury News and East Bay Times online polls count.
