Alford remains in custody, and has been charged with burglary, peeking while loitering, invasion of privacy, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of ammunition by a felon, and unlawful entry of a property."
Courtney Alford, 45, was observed inside a UC Berkeley sorority house early one morning and fled when seen by a resident. Security footage showed him entering the house as early as 3 a.m., changing clothes, wearing a ski mask, and stealing residents' underwear and food. Police used a license plate reader to identify his vehicle and obtained an arrest warrant. Officers arrested Alford at his Dublin home, where they found an assault rifle, ammunition magazines, and roughly 900 rounds of ammunition. Alford is a convicted felon and remains in custody on multiple charges including burglary, invasion of privacy, and weapons offenses.
