After traveling to all 50 states, I think these 6 state parks are some of the country's most incredible hidden gems
Briefly

National parks are increasingly popular, yet some of the most magnificent natural landscapes lie within state parks. After traveling alone to all national parks, I found places like Wisconsin's Devil's Lake State Park and New York's Letchworth State Park, which rivals national parks in beauty and adventure. Devil's Lake features extensive hiking trails and water activities, while Letchworth is known for its spectacular waterfalls and fall foliage. These state parks offer serene experiences without the usual crowds and reservation challenges of national parks.
Despite being Wisconsin's most-visited state park, I find that many people I talk to don't know about Devil's Lake in Baraboo.
Often nicknamed the 'Grand Canyon of the East,' Letchworth State Park is a natural wonder where the Genesee River carves through a deep gorge.
The park is especially magical in the fall, with its vibrant autumn foliage, making it one of the most spectacular leaf-peeping destinations in the Northeast.
Coopers Rock State Forest in West Virginia, offers breathtaking views, especially during sunset, presenting an idyllic outdoor experience.
