""He didn't hit his brakes, he didn't try to slow down, he just went full force into the back of another truck, crushing two other cars.""
An eight-vehicle collision on westbound I-10 near the I-15 interchange in Ontario killed three people and injured four. The crash occurred around 1:10 p.m. when a semi-truck failed to stop as traffic slowed, striking other vehicles. The pile-up involved four semi-trucks and four passenger cars, with one passenger vehicle engulfed in flames. Three people were pronounced dead at the scene and four were transported to hospitals; their conditions were unknown. All westbound lanes except the two FasTrak lanes and the transition roads from I-15 to I-10 westbound are closed, causing significant rush-hour congestion.
