This growing success story reflects the trust Agrale places in our solutions and our shared commitment to developing a robust sustainable transport network in the region."
Equipmake secured a £5.45 million contract to supply electric drivetrain systems and related non-recurring engineering for 50 Agrale buses of multiple types. The partnership began in 2022 and followed an initial delivery of five zero-emission drivetrains in 2024. New systems will be delivered in tranches through mid-2026, each tranche supported by advance payments and an irrevocable letter of credit confirmed by a UK clearing bank. Equipmake will supply integrated packages including motor, inverter, control electronics and battery pack, combining in-house and selected third-party components. Equipmake's live order book now exceeds £10 million. Agrale is a longstanding Brazilian commercial vehicle manufacturer.
