Paramount's head of streaming product and tech is leaving the company. Read his Slack message to colleagues.

Vibol Hou will depart Paramount Skydance at the end of January, telling colleagues in a company Slack channel that he plans a pause to rest, focus on health and marathon training, and spend more time with family before pursuing future opportunities. The exit had been anticipated for months and followed a memo noting his interest in exploring other roles while remaining through an early-year transition. Hou worked at Paramount and its subsidiaries for over a decade, including six years at Pluto TV. Paramount underwent major corporate changes during his tenure, including the ViacomCBS merger and the Paramount Skydance merger that closed in summer 2025.
