Midco finalized the acquisition of Savage Communications Inc. (SCI) Broadband on November 19, 2025 in Hinckley, Minnesota, expanding Midco's Minnesota network and preparing for continued fiber growth. SCI, founded in 1984 by Ron Savage, grew to serve nearly 12,000 data customers and will reach nearly 28,000 passings by year-end. All SCI team members received job offers from Midco. Midco plans fiber expansion into new Minnesota markets in 2026, Beyond Gig upgrades to deliver high-split symmetrical speeds across a five-state footprint, and a Midco Mobile launch by year-end. Midco committed significant investments over the next three years to enhance products and the acquired network.
