"You could see in the first half he's not 100 percent, obviously. I thought in the second half though he had that stretch there where we were struggling, he kind of took over, got to the free-throw line, hit a couple 3s, so that was good."
"We needed him tonight. Obviously playing handicapped, he still played really well."
James Harden made his successful return for the Cleveland Cavaliers after missing two games due to a fractured right thumb sustained during a win over the New York Knicks. Playing against the Brooklyn Nets, the 36-year-old 11-time All-Star contributed 22 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists in a 106-102 victory. Though limited in the first half with eight points, Harden dominated the second half, hitting multiple three-pointers and free throws to help Cleveland rally from a 52-46 halftime deficit. Coach Kenny Atkinson noted Harden's impact despite playing at less than full capacity. Since his February 3 trade from the Los Angeles Clippers, Harden has averaged 19.3 points, 8.0 assists, and 5.1 rebounds across eight games with Cleveland.
