BSE Global, the owner of the Brooklyn Nets and New York Liberty, is set to open a youth basketball training facility in Downtown Brooklyn, featuring multi-court layouts and advanced training programs. Spanning 18,600 square feet, the Brooklyn Basketball Training Center will host free clinics in partnership with the NYC Department of Education and provide after-school programs for children aged 6-14, focusing on inclusivity and skill development. The facility aims to create a supportive environment for youth to thrive both in sports and academically, emphasizing community engagement through sports.
This initiative is about more than just basketball-it's about creating a safe, inclusive space where young people can learn, grow and connect.
The center will include two full courts, a 'shooting lab' half court, auxiliary baskets, multi-purpose court flooring for other events.
