Xanadu Roller Arts in Bushwick will host a one-night immersive Wicked/The Wizard of Oz/The Wiz-themed skate event called Rolling to Emerald City on Dec. 19 from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. DJs Misbehaviour, Operator Emz and DJ Condy Kim will play a high-energy mix of disco, funk, soul and classics. Impala Skate will supply signature green and pink skates and sponsor a costume contest with two skate prizes. The rink will glow pink and emerald, Unicorn Snot will run a free sparkle station, a troupe of six to eight themed performers will skate, and Santa will appear on skates for photos.
