Subway train hits person at Carroll St. station, in latest of several incidents this year

The F and G subway services experienced a suspension on Monday morning after a train struck an individual at the Carroll Street station. Notifications were sent out indicating that although service resumed by 9 a.m., there were significant disruptions. F trains were suspended between the JayStreet/MetroTech and Church Ave. stations, while G trains faced suspension between Bedford/Nostrand Ave. and Bergen St. The NYPD has not provided any additional information about the incident, following a series of train-related collisions in Brooklyn this year.
Service was suspended on the F and G subway lines just after 8 a.m. on Monday due to a train striking a person at the Carroll Street station.
The MTA indicated normal service returned by 9 a.m., although disruptions were noted between the JayStreet/MetroTech and Church Ave. for F trains.
G train service was also interrupted between the Bedford/Nostrand Ave. and Bergen St. stations following the incident.
NYPD has not released additional information regarding the incident, while several train/commuter collisions have occurred in Brooklyn this year.
