PREMIUMBrooklyn's Thomas Jefferson Club, longest running Democratic club in the state of New York, is finding a new home
Briefly

The Thomas Jefferson Club (TJ Club), a prominent political organization in New York City, is relocating from Canarsie to a new state-of-the-art facility in Mill Basin. The move, expected to happen in June, is attributed to changes in the district's borders. Club Chief Frank Seddio emphasized the importance of being centrally located within their community. Seddio shared personal memories related to the club's original location and highlighted the significant role the TJ Club has played in supporting civic organizations and local elections.
"In 1965 when we bought the building, our border was Linden Boulevard on the north and the Queens border on the east... Today, we start at Rockaway Parkway and go past Gerritsen Beach."
"I was sitting right here in this spot. I was 18 years old; it's one of my fondest memories about this place."
