A Brooklyn police officer was injured when a driver reversed into him during a traffic stop on April 4. The incident occurred at 8 p.m. at Wallabout Street and Broadway. Officers from the NYPD Community Response Team had pulled over a white 2018 Q50S Infiniti with improper license plates. As officers approached, the driver accelerated, hitting two police vehicles before reversing into the officer. The officer suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital. Police have released surveillance footage and are seeking information from the public.
