Photoville will hold its 2026 festival from May 16 to May 30, featuring more than 85 free exhibitions and public programs across parks, plazas, and public spaces in all five boroughs. The festival remains anchored in Brooklyn Bridge Park and has grown into one of the country’s largest photography events, drawing more than one million visitors in 2025. Founded in 2011, Photoville focuses on creating unexpected exhibition opportunities, supporting new directions in photography, and building connections within a global photographer community. The festival includes photographers ranging from students to Pulitzer Prize winners. The opening will feature “Boroughs in Focus,” selected from open submissions by 25 photographers, and an opening-night community weekend in Emily Warren Roebling Plaza with family-friendly programming and food vendors.
