Ronald Williams, 38, from Atlanta, was found dead inside a parked black Chevy Equinox on West 35th Street in Coney Island early Tuesday morning with gunshot wounds to his torso and arm. NYPD officers discovered him around 1:35 a.m. while responding to a shots-fired call. He was pronounced dead by EMS workers. Eugene Ohemeng, 31, a local resident living approximately half a mile from the scene, was arrested around 8:50 p.m. and charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon. The relationship between the two men and the motive for the shooting remain under investigation. Ohemeng's arraignment in Brooklyn Criminal Court was pending.
