These gangs have been involved in numerous shootings, resulting in 11 victims, including one death. Many of the arrested individuals have prior gun-related arrests. Charges include conspiracy to commit murder and weapons possession. The arrests aim to reduce gun violence in Brownsville. A significant number of firearms have been seized during the investigation, which lasted three years.
