Edwin Delgado, 53, was riding his bicycle south on 16th Avenue in Brooklyn's Borough Park when a Mack cement truck traveling in the same direction struck him near 49th Street on Wednesday afternoon. Emergency responders transported Delgado to Maimonides Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The 68-year-old cement truck driver stayed at the scene following the collision and has not been arrested. Delgado resided in East New York, approximately eight miles from the accident location.
