NYPD Special Victims detectives in Brooklyn are seeking a suspect who raped a 59-year-old woman inside Kaiser Park in Coney Island. The attack occurred at 8:20 a.m. on May 26 near Bayview and Neptune Avenues. The victim was walking through the park when the perpetrator, whom she did not know, threw her to the ground. A physical struggle followed, during which the suspect raped her. After the assault, the suspect fled on foot toward Neptune Avenue. The incident was reported to the 60th Precinct, and the victim refused medical attention. The NYPD released a sketch and video showing the suspect wearing a black bubble jacket, black pants, black sneakers, and carrying a black backpack.
