""I do kind of absurd one-liners, my biggest influence would be Mitch Hedberg, probably. And I have the same voice that I do for everything, just that one voice.""
""The great thing about doing stand-up versus doing a show or something is when you have a joke that works you get to keep doing it over and over again, which is fun.""
""Nothing feels better to me than making someone laugh. As a kid, it kind of took me a while to figure out how to do that.""
""He was this really funny, kind of low-energy comic. I didn't really know that was a thing ... I'm like, 'Oh, I could actually do this.'""
Dan Mintz, famous for voicing Tina Belcher on 'Bob's Burgers,' will perform at The Bell House on March 28. His stand-up style features absurd one-liners influenced by Mitch Hedberg. Mintz's show is part of his 'Well-Rounded Performer' tour, leading to a new hourlong special. He enjoys the iterative process of stand-up, where successful jokes can be repeated. Mintz has always aspired to make people laugh, initially struggling to find his comedic voice until inspired by comedian Mitch Fatel.
