Some pay direct homage to Brooklyn the Bridge mug features drawings of the Brooklyn and Verrazzano bridges, the Brooklynese mug is labeled simply Cawfee."
Fishs Eddy will open a Dumbo, Brooklyn location at 81 Front Street this fall, roughly the same size as its Manhattan flagship. The store plans to sell the same mix of practical and whimsical kitchen goods that defined the original, with diner-style checkerboard patterns, colorful polka dots, and New York skyline dinnerware. Unique offerings will include mugs with snappy sayings and drawings by local artists, Brooklyn-themed pieces such as bridge illustrations and a “Cawfee” mug, and novelty items like cow-shaped creamers, ceramic berry containers, and vintage-inspired glassware. The Dumbo address aims to attract both locals and visitors.
