Born in Ireland in 1934, Nolan moved to the U.S. in 1953 and became a beloved fixture in the Bay Ridge community. She held various leadership roles, including service on Community Board 10 and co-founding local groups. Her contributions earned her numerous awards, and the ceremony was led by Council Member Justin Brannan, who praised her legacy.
