"Police are searching for suspects believed to be responsible for a citywide string of ATM burglaries, with many of the incidents concentrated in Brooklyn's East New York neighborhood. Authorities say the pair is linked to at least 17 cases reported across multiple precincts in Brooklyn and Queens over several weeks. Investigators say the pattern includes stolen ATMs, failed attempts to remove machines, car thefts, and cash taken from the machines."
"One of the latest incidents unfolded overnight at a store at 51 Arlington Ave., where suspects ripped out an ATM, police said. The group then moved on to a nearby location at 1868 Linden Blvd., forcing their way through the front gate in an unsuccessful attempt to remove another machine. According to the NYPD, other affected neighborhoods include Crown Heights, Cypress Hills, East Flatbush, Williamsburg, and Greenpoint, as well as parts of northern Queens such as Fresh Meadows, Cunningham Heights, and Hilltop Village."
