Atlantic Terminal in Brooklyn is celebrating its 20th anniversary by launching "Terminal 20: Summer on Track," a series of free community events promoting wellness, family fun, and community engagement. Activities include "Wellness Wednesdays" with Diva Dance fitness programs, the "Summer Sunset Salsa Series" for dancing enthusiasts, and "Summer Saturdays" for families featuring crafts and activities for children. A Pixie Pods summer camp for younger kids will also run through September 2, offering creative and playful experiences. RSVPs are recommended for most events to ensure participation.
On Wednesdays, whip your workout into a party with the help of Diva Dance, who choreograph core-strengthening routines to upbeat music, during "Wellness Wednesdays" now through August 20.
The new series "Terminal 20: Summer on Track" welcomes neighbors and visitors alike to partake in community-building activities and summer events focused on wellness and family fun.
Every Thursday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., the "Summer Sunset Salsa Series" will turn the plaza into an open-air dance floor, welcoming dancers of every level to partake in guided lessons.
Summer Saturdays on July 12 and September 13 are for families looking to give kids time to explore water play, crafts, games, and even giveaways from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
