JPMorgan Chase is expanding its Boston presence by relocating to South Station Tower in 2028, where it will occupy 250,000 square feet across eight-and-a-half floors housing approximately 1,000 employees. The move represents the firm's continued growth in Massachusetts, with plans to add 300 jobs over several years. The bank will maintain its existing location at 451 D Street with 800 employees. JPMorgan Chase currently operates over 1,600 employees in Boston across corporate offices and Chase branches. Since opening its first Massachusetts retail branch in 2018, the company has grown to 92 branches statewide and expects to reach 100 branches this year. The South Station location offers convenient access to Amtrak service to New York City, where the company's headquarters recently relocated.
