Jacob Henriques, an admissions director at Emmanuel College, was arrested for attempting to sex traffic a minor. Using his role, he accessed personal information of prospective students to contact them under the guise of offering paid activities. College officials expressed shock and anger, emphasizing their commitment to student safety and immediate termination of Henriques upon becoming aware of the situation. The investigation revealed attempts to lure at least four students into sexual activity, raising serious concerns about abuse of power within the educational institution.
Henriques allegedly used his position as an assistant admissions director at Emmanuel to access several admitted or prospective students' personal information and contact them in an attempt to get them to engage in commercial sex with him.
They are an affront to our core values, and we stand with anyone victimized by this incident... the safety and well-being of all is our highest priority.
