"First responders pulled the body of Tri Trinh, 72, from the water off of Thompson Island, the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office said. Trinh had set out from a Quincy beach earlier in the day, the DA's office said."

A 72-year-old man from Quincy, Tri Trinh, was found dead in Boston Harbor after setting out in a kayak earlier in the day. First responders recovered his body from the water off Thompson Island. Officials said he had launched from a Quincy beach earlier that day. His body was taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital - Milton. Results of his autopsy are pending. The Suffolk County District Attorney's Office reported that there were no obvious signs of trauma or foul play.
