The Orioles plan to select right-hander Cameron Weston. Trey Gibson will be optioned to Triple-A Norfolk as the corresponding active roster move. Baltimore had multiple 40-man roster vacancies after Albert Suarez and Dietrich Enns were designated for assignment in recent days. Weston is being added to fill one of those vacancies.
