Blake Wehunt started and struggled, allowing three runs in the first inning before being pulled. Worcester beat Syracuse 10-1 behind two-homer performances by Abraham Toro and Mikey Romero; Romero hit homers in the second and eighth and drove in five runs. Mikey Romero is 21, a 2022 first-round pick, hitting .221 in 35 Triple-A games with a 30.6% strikeout rate. Tyler Uberstine allowed two hits in five innings for Worcester.
