Ja Morant has been ruled out for the remainder of the season due to a UCL sprain in his left elbow. He played only 20 games this season and suffered the injury on January 21. The Grizzlies had explored trade options for him but found little interest. Following a consultation, it was recommended that he receive a platelet-rich plasma injection for healing. Morant is expected to be ready for the start of the 2026-27 season, having played only 79 games over the last three seasons due to injuries and suspensions.
