Carter Hawkins Out Of Running For Nationals' GM Job

Hawkins is expected to remain in Chicago, where he'll continue to work as the team's #2 executive under baseball operations president Jed Hoyer. Hawkins reportedly interviewed with the Nats a couple weeks ago. He was viewed as one of the top candidates for the position."

Dodgers senior vice president Josh Byrnes, D-Backs AGM Amiel Sawdaye, and Red Sox AGM Paul Toboni have all been tied to the vacancy."
