Brayan Bello added a curveball to his arsenal during spring training as part of adjustments after a rough finish to 2025. Bello struggled in September, posting a 1-3 record with a 5.40 ERA over 25 innings across five starts. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings in Game 2 of the Wild Card Series, allowing two runs on four hits and a walk. Bello attributed some issues to postseason adrenaline affecting his pace.
