"Weird. If somebody said that while we were in Boston, that this would be the scenario, who would believe this?"
"But this is how it works. It works out. Obviously we expect for Boston to have some changes with the remaining stuff, but yeah, it's going to be weird, especially first game back against Boston."
"I get to see a lot of people that I care about, and we'll compete on the court and that goes on but after we'll be able to catch up with a lot of people,"
"It's just very special to me. For me, it's a lot of excitement and my son Ian has been raving about seeing a lot of the guys and seeing a lot of the coaches. The whole thing, it will be cool to see everyone."
Kristaps Porzingis and Al Horford left the Boston Celtics and joined the Golden State Warriors following an offseason signing and a deadline trade. Porzingis will make his Warriors debut Thursday after missing about a month while managing POTS and an Achilles injury. Horford spent seven seasons in Boston across two stints and is playing on the West Coast for the first time this season. Both players expect a strange feeling facing their former team but also look forward to seeing former teammates and coaches; Horford's son Ian is especially excited.
