"Trying to build some energy around it for my extended family, just having a good time with it. I knew they were going to win. I did some videos before that, proclaiming that, and they got it done.""
""One of them is set to 'Rocky' music," Chisholm said. "Another one's set to Guns 'N Roses. 'I'm Shipping Up to Boston' is on standby.""
""I think it was impossible not to [become a Celtics fan] when I had been such a nut," Chisholm said."
Bill Chisholm grew up a Celtics fan, carried that fandom after moving to California, and recently became the team's owner. Chisholm made playful hype videos in his driveway to energize his extended family during the Celtics' 2024 playoff run, acknowledging limited basketball skills but adding music and creativity. He mentioned using tracks such as "Rocky," Guns N' Roses, and keeping "I'm Shipping Up to Boston" on standby. Chisholm noted that coach Joe Mazzulla favors "I'm Shipping Up to Boston" in practice and called Mazzulla a terrific coach. Chisholm's youngest son Quentin was an enthusiastic Celtics fan.
