""I think he'll be OK," Mazzulla explained. "Talked to him after, he said he would be fine, but I didn't get a full update.""
""We got enough," Brown said. "We're looking at other teams - we feel like we're just as talented or we could beat them. The most important thing is not hanging your head after some mistakes or hanging your head after a loss. We just gotta move forward.""
Jaylen Brown left in the first quarter of the Celtics' preseason win over the Raptors after appearing to suffer a left hamstring injury. Boston secured a 110-108 victory at TD Garden. Head coach Joe Mazzulla said he was not worried, noting Brown told him he would be fine though a full update was not available. Brown will have a larger role this season with Jayson Tatum sidelined while recovering from a ruptured Achilles tendon. Brown, entering his 10th season, expressed confidence in the team's talent and urged moving forward after mistakes or losses. The regular season opens Oct. 22 at home against the 76ers with a 7:30 p.m. tip.
