Jason Isaacs reveals the 'very low price' the 'White Lotus' cast was paid per episode
Briefly

In an interview with Vulture, Jason Isaacs confirmed that the cast of 'The White Lotus' is paid a non-negotiable salary of $40,000 per episode. While he acknowledges that this amount is relatively low compared to the millions earned by actors in other popular shows, he does not mind being paid the same as less established actors. The show's producer, David Bernad, emphasized that this salary structure fosters a commitment to the project, attracting actors who are passionate about their roles instead of motivated solely by financial gain.
That's absolutely true, generally actors don't talk about pay in public because it's ridiculously disproportionate to what we do - putting on makeup and funny voices - and just upsets the public. But compared to what people normally get paid for big television shows, that's a very low price.
They get paid the same, and we do alphabetical billing, so you're getting people who want to do the project for the right reasons.
I never work for the money. I mean, I've done all right...what I've done rather immaturely is expand my outgoings to match my incomings and pretty much spent everything I've earned over the years.
The White Lotus cast earned $40,000 per episode, which Isaacs stated is a relatively low price as TV salaries have surged into the millions for hit shows.
