Simons has not yet played for Boston and faces multiple trade rumors as the team considers moving him to recoup assets or remove his $27.6 million salary. The 76ers and Nuggets have expressed interest in a potential trade. Simons averaged 19.3 points per game in 2024-25 and shoots 38.1 percent from three. With Jayson Tatum expected to miss most of 2025 recovering from a ruptured Achilles, Simons could provide scoring either as a starter or off the bench.
