Ronald Nored has been appointed as the new head coach of Butler, succeeding Thad Matta. A 2012 graduate of Butler, Nored played under Brad Stevens and contributed to the team's NCAA championship appearances in 2010 and 2011. He has extensive coaching experience, including roles in the G League and NBA, most recently with the Atlanta Hawks. Athletic director Grant Leiendecker praised Nored's work ethic, basketball IQ, and vision for the program, emphasizing confidence in his ability to elevate Butler Basketball.
