"So I will absolutely be there. I will do whatever it takes - whatever the Boston Celtics need me to do. "If they need me to be doing press conferences every day, I'll do them. If they need me to stay out of the way, I'll do that. I feel like I have enough self awareness to know where I can be hopeful and know when to get out of the way."
"I'm a huge fan first of all. So I'm so excited to be there, to have the best seat in the house, frankly."
"I want a third ring, and then I want a fourth one."
Bill Chisholm assumed the role of lead owner after a record more than $6.1 billion sale and appeared with Aditya Mittal, Wyc Grousbeck, Rich Gotham and Brad Stevens. Chisholm said he is still getting his feet wet and will take whatever role the Celtics need, from public-facing duties to staying out of the way. He stated he will defer roster and basketball operations decisions to Brad Stevens and Joe Mazzulla while providing support. The organization faces high expectations and a possible bridge year, and Chisholm expressed a clear desire to help pursue more championships.
