Aday Mara led the Wolverines with 16 points and eight rebounds, while Elliot Cadeau contributed 15 points. Michigan avenged its only regular-season conference loss to Wisconsin from January 10. The top-seeded Wolverines improved to 31-2 and advanced to Sunday's championship game against either UCLA or No. 18 Purdue. Wisconsin's Austin Rapp scored all 18 points in the second half on six 3-pointers, but it wasn't enough to overcome Michigan's late heroics.
